Writer and producer Larry Charles made four background cameos:
- "The Parking Garage" (Season 3, Episode 6): He plays the bearded passerby in the parking garage who ignores Elaine when she calls out asking for help locating Jerry's car.
- "The Trip, Part 2" (Season 4, Episode 2): When Kramer is arrested in Los Angeles as the suspected "Smog Strangler," Larry Charles appears standing in the crowd right next to Larry David as police lead Kramer away
- "The Airport" (Season 4, Episode 12): In an episode he wrote himself, Charles plays the passenger exiting the airplane lavatory after leaving behind a terrible stench that Elaine is forced to endure.
- "The Pilot" (Season 4, Episodes 23 & 24): He appears uncredited alongside Larry David in the Greenpeace raft with Russell Dalrymple (Bob Balaban) at the end of the episode.
