"Kessler"
In S1 E1 - "The Seinfeld Chronicles" - we meet Kramer as KESSLER:
Kramer was based on Kenny Kramer, Larry David’s real-life eccentric neighbor from his days living in Manhattan
When writing the episode, David was hesitant to use Kenny's actual last name. He correctly predicted that if they used the name "Kramer," Kenny would try to exploit the association to the absolute maximum - which he did.
Kenny Kramer immediately capitalized on the show's massive success, launching the real-world "Kramer's Reality Tour" (a New York City bus tour mocking the show's locations) and running for mayor of NYC.

"The Bet", also known as "The Gun", is an episode that was written for the second season, but was never filmed. In the episode, Elaine bets against Jerry on the ease of buying a handgun to protect herself.

- About thirteen minutes into the episode, when Elaine confronts Kramer about the electronic organizer, Kramer opens his door wide enough so that one can see inside his apartment, which most noticeably (in this scene) features a framed black-and-white photograph of Jerry Seinfeld on the wall, in a close-up sort of pose with his hand on forehead, looking somewhat exhausted, like most authorial back-flap photographs.
- The production crew made a CGI Whale for the ending, but it was decided it would be funnier if it was told in a story by George.
- Newman had a bigger role in a deleted scene where he scolds Kramer for thinking there's sand in his apartment, And threatens to call his mother Babs.
- At the beach, an offscreen voice asks if there is a marine biologist. The voice is Larry David's.
